Wandering around, I’m seeing lots of themed Christmas trees or minimal ones. We’re at the other end of the spectrum―all of those memories have to be carefully unwrapped from tissue paper and thrown on the tree. Maximalism!

All the junk made at nursery and primary school sits alongside the trinkets from when we were first married and the ornaments we add each year.
